Dynamics 365 Sales

The Microsoft Relationship Sales solution offers per-user licensing that enables sales professionals to build strong relationships and win deals from a single trusted vendor. It provides the necessary tools for sales professionals to connect with more businesses through the power of relationship selling.

In Dynamics 365 Sales, there are two primary licensing types:

  1. Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise: This licensing type is suitable for clients with more complex sales processes. It offers automation for past deals, addressing the needs of progressive and intricate sales processes. Sales Enterprise provides customization, extensibility, embedded knowledge, manual forecasting, and all the functionality available in Sales Professional.
  2. Dynamics 365 Sales Professional: This licensing type is designed for companies without a large sales organization. Sales Professional offers core sales power automation or SFA (Sales Force Automation) functionality.

Additionally, there is Dynamics 365 Sales Insights, which is licensed per user. It enhances decision-making and engagement by providing prebuilt and embedded insights that are easy to implement and act upon. Sales Enterprise includes Sales Insights features such as the assistant, email engagement, auto-capture, and business card scanning (10/user/month, pooled at the tenant level). Sales Insights has a capacity limit of 200 business card scans per user per month. If additional business card scanning capacity is required, Sales Enterprise users can purchase additional Sales Insights licenses.

Dynamics 365 Marketing

The Dynamics 365 Marketing application is licensed per tenant based on the number of contacts used in marketing activities. The administrator should assign customer licenses through the Microsoft Dynamics 365 admin center to users who require access to the Marketing application.

There are two licensing options available for Dynamics 365 Marketing:

  1. Dynamics 365 Marketing (standalone): This option is for customers who are new to Dynamics or have fewer than 10 full users of other Dynamics applications such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service Automation, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce. The standalone Marketing application comes with an entitlement of 10,000 contacts.
  2. Dynamics 365 for Marketing Attach: This option is for customers who already have at least 10 full users of other Dynamics applications mentioned above. They can purchase the Marketing Attach application, which also includes an entitlement of 10,000 contacts.

The base pack of Marketing includes one instance of the Marketing application and an entitlement of 10,000 contacts. It’s important to note that only one base pack with 10,000 contacts can be purchased.
